At Highlands, innovation is part of who we are. We are committed to an education that combines creativity, critical thinking and timeless values, preparing our pupils to transform the world with originality and commitment.
Programs such as the “Passport to Primary” and the “Challenge Project” respond to real needs, facilitating educational transitions and promoting skills-based learning through active methodologies, makerspaces, and DIY culture. We encourage experimentation from Preschool through High School with projects such as the Science Fair, developed entirely in English using the CLIL approach.
Technology is integrated in an ethical and meaningful way, as demonstrated by our recognition as a Microsoft Showcase School. We also explore new tools such as artificial intelligence to improve assessment and personalize learning.
Innovation is also experienced in community, with initiatives such as the High League, and in connecting with the environment through partnerships with universities, businesses, and social organizations. We promote social-emotional learning and volunteering as pillars of a holistic education.
At Highlands, to innovate is to move forward with purpose, as a community and with our eyes on the future.
We work with respected institutions to offer an innovative, all-round education rooted in the real world. These partnerships strengthen our educational approach and help us keep improving.
