Bilingual Sixth Form: preparing our students for a global world

"Cambridge English language assessment" exams

In Sixth Form, after years of studying in English, students work towards official certification at the highest level of the CEFR. These globally recognised exams certify our students’ level of English. As an examination centre, we provide specialist teachers and manage the whole preparation process for them.

International guidance and support

University education abroad is now more accessible and competitive than ever. At our bilingual Sixth Form in Madrid, we make it easier to access universities abroad through workshops, training and personalised advice. We have partnered with the leading company in international university guidance to give each student the tools they need to decide their own path.

Academic excellence at our bilingual Sixth Form in Boadilla del Monte

Initial and ongoing diagnostic assessment

To ease the transition from Secondary to Sixth Form, we devote the first few weeks to induction days. We assess students to identify their strengths and areas for growth, and draw up a personalised plan. At our bilingual Sixth Form in Madrid, we encourage teamwork, communication and human relationships, especially when classes are regrouped by subject pathway.

Masterclass

We also offer our students masterclasses with leading experts in different professional fields to enrich their learning of the curriculum.

Oratory

We teach our students to defend their ideas with sound arguments and tools, in both English and Spanish.

To practise and refine their public speaking, students give presentations in a range of subjects and take part in the national and international Debate Programme.

Genuine personal accompaniment and individual attention at our bilingual Sixth Form

Personalised study plan

Individual academic action plan: the tutor, together with the Guidance Department, prepares a specific plan for the student in collaboration with the teachers in each area and the school chaplaincy.

Careers guidance

Form tutors guide students in their academic and personal development through one-to-one meetings, supporting them with careers guidance and offering the tools and support they need to make an informed choice suited to each student’s individual profile.

We also organise university guidance days with workshops, round tables and presentations on a range of degrees.

Work experience

The WE programme allows first-year Baccalaureate students to learn about the day-to-day running of a company and gain real work experience, sharing work days with professionals in the sector in which they have shown interest. We aim to help them discover the value of work, the vocation of service and teamwork, and to learn to assume professional responsibility.

Mentoring Program

The aim of the programme is to support each student in this important personal and academic moment, helping them to reflect on what they have learned in these years and to open themselves up to the future with enthusiasm. Through mentoring, a trainer supports each student, with total respect for their individuality and their rhythms, supporting them in the challenge of facing their growth towards plenitude.

We educate committed students

Sixth Form in Madrid: social engagement

Students take part in social projects that foster their sensitivity to the needs of others and let them experience the life-changing power of serving the most disadvantaged in our society.

Formative discipline

Through formative discipline, our educators help students discover, day by day, the values behind the rules, so that they act out of personal conviction rather than because a set of regulations is imposed on them. In this way, students come to understand the meaning and importance of respecting and following the rules in building a good school community.

We educate digitally competent students

Digital environment at our bilingual Sixth Form in Boadilla del Monte, Madrid
