Highlands is a private bilingual school in Boadilla del Monte, Madrid, committed to the comprehensive education of its students from 4 months through to Sixth Form (Bachillerato). Founded in 2007, the school focuses on academic excellence, personal development and an innovative approach with a Christian vision. It encourages collaboration between teachers, students and parents to create a strong and fair educational community.
This is the spirit of Highlands: a bilingual education that seeks academic and human excellence, in a family environment of support and technological, pedagogical and sporting innovation. In the natural setting of Boadilla del Monte and accredited as a Microsoft Showcase School, Los Fresnos will be the school that educates them for life.
Our motto, Semper Altius (always higher), tells us that in the process of education we need to keep walking, climbing and going beyond ourselves to reach the fullness to which we are called. That is why we seek to:
Located in the natural surroundings of the Boadilla mountain, next to more than 800 green hectares, the school has 17,500 m² of facilities. It has modern infrastructures, such as a cafeteria, a secondary and high school building, 7-a-side football and paddle tennis courts, as well as new playgrounds and parking spaces.
The school’s design integrates spaces that promote learning and coexistence in an inspiring natural environment.
The Highleague is a sports and integration project that helps develop virtues in pupils in Secondary (ESO) and 1º de Bachillerato (age 16–17). It consists of a series of 6-a-side football matches, played under their own set of rules during the school day. Each team is captained by one of the school’s formadores (staff responsible for pupils’ personal formation).
